Lakeview - Coventry

Lakeview Restaurant is on the lake in Coventry Conn. They offer Italian, Seafood, Steak, Pizza, Sandwiches Burgers. They have an outdoor deck overlooking the lake. They have a large bar, and big screen TV. When we first arrived we were happy to be reunited with our favorite waiter, Joey from Coventry Pizza, who we had not seen in 3 years. We sat in a booth overlooking the lake. I got the Rib Eye Steak Sandwich topped with a delicious combination of sauteed onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese. The Steak Fries were the way I like them; hot and crispy golden brown. Liz got the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo served over Linguini. I sampled some, both the chicken and white sauce were very tasty. The portion was very generous, we took half of it home. Joey, our server, was very attentive friendly. Leo, the manager, thanked us as we were leaving and was very friendly with us. Next time we try an appetizer; Chicken Wings, Fried Calamari, Stuffed Mushrooms, Sweet Potato Fries, Shrimp, Smelts in a Basket. Then split an Antipasto Salad, or Baked Lasagna.
