A fantastic small pub located just a short distance from the city center. The atmosphere is wonderful.

The Gatehouse is a quaint pub with a fantastic beer garden at the back. While it may be a bit off the main path in town, its slightly set back location actually adds to its charm.

Excellent food and drink. very friendly bartender who knew about the different beer in the offer. he had gone over the channel from hawksbury junction to the pub, so a good recovery was necessary!

Brilliant real pub to visit on playdays. Traveled by blackpool recently and was made to feel very welcome by employees and customers. great selection of real ale. real ale love away football fans 'must goto pub '.. very recommended.
