Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe mutton achari was absolutely delicious, with tender meat and just the right amount of spice. It was truly heavenly and left us wanting more. The chicken tikka was also flavorful, but it couldn't quite match up to the amazing mutton achari. The dish had a nice blend of flavors and the hint of achar taste was a nice touch. After enjoying our meal, we were treated to the mango Lassi, which was so good that we couldn't get enough of it. It was gone in no time and the taste was exceptional. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty drink. The restaurant had a decent ambiance and the food definitely made up for any shortcomings in that area. Overall, I highly recommend giving Zeenat a try for a satisfying dining experience.
Best Asian takeaway in coventry for grilled eating. curries are also decent. mischgrill is great. only place in coventry i rate in comparison to large town squares such as wilmslow rd (manchester) or alum rock Road/Stratford road/ ladypool road (birmingham).
Recently on a visit to England we stopped by this small university city of Coventry, after the Friday prayers we spotted an Afghan restaurant Zeenat right across the street from the mosque which said Halal food available here. We stepped inside to be greeted by friendly staff. Once seated the menus were placed and we were informed of the specials. After careful deliberation we decided to order the Mutton Achari, Chicken Tikka, butter naan followed by a jug of Mango Lassi. The mutton Achari was heavenly, the mutton was tender and the curry had just the right amount of tangy-ness in it. Just thinking about the curry is making my mouth water. The chicken tikka was tasty but it couldn't follow up after the immensely amazing and delicious mutton Achari. As the name suggested it was a mix of mutton and the curry had a touch of achar taste.Having had this meal we were all pretty much done. We were greeted with a jar of mango lassi. Now believe me when I say that nobody had any space left but as soon as each of us had a taste of the mango lassi we couldn't get enough of it and within no time it was over. The taste of that mango lassi is one drink that I would recommend all over the world. You can find no other better mango lassi than the one in zeenat. The ambience was not bad, but the food made up for what the ambience lacked. This is a must try place and I give it for giving me complete satisfaction.
I loved that I was with the young in coventry after a filmshoot for the day outside and my friend shaid suggested this excellent place. I had a matte wiper with tandoori roti. it tasted so good and the customer service was also excellent. I'll be here soon to eat again.
Went with family all the way from Birmingham was very disappointing with the cod masala fish it smelled bad. Had the afghani balti which taste or flavour to it. The service was so bad had to wait so long for food to come. Had to...go back couple times to find out what had happened to the nan we had ordered. Only for it to turn up after we finished eating. Also the waiter was not intrested when we had asked where our food was. Definitely will not be going there again. Just a shame can't give it a zero feedback..
