Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis used to be one of my favourite local restaurants. They had a good selection on the menu. The service was great! They went the extra mile...then the place changed hands. The new owner did extensive renovations, changed the menu to Italian food only, and took away all that was good about the place.I visited there tonight...first time since the changes. Yes, the new decor is quite nice. Yes, it is still a bring your own wine place. But gone are all the things that made it special. The Italian only fare is quite pricey. The waitress wasn't very knowledgeable and had to go back to ask the cook questions (in her defense. .maybe she is new).My friend and I always went to the old place and split a pizza. The waitress at the old Patio would just automatically bring it on two plates. We were told tonight that there is a charge (she didn't say how much) to split a dish...what!? Turns out this new restaurant charges $3.00 to split a pizza between two people! $3.00 for them to put the pizza on two plates...seriously??Once the waitress served the pizza she never came back to the table. No coffee or dessert was offered. She didn't even bring the bill until we started to put our coats on. She offered to give us separate bills, but then didn't know how to do it. We did the Math for her and she then didn't know how to make change...come on!!The entire experience was disappointing...one, because the service wasn't great, two, because the new owners changed all the things we liked about the old place, and three...because we now have to find another place to go. I sure won't go back!
Only went for breakfast but it was really good. Lots of fruit, nice eggs Benedict. Impressed with the new reopen.
The pancakes and Benedictine eggs are really delicious. the terrace is very large and in the shade in the morning. Very good service!
We were here on a weeknight, so the 2 for $25 menu was in effect. O patio does have a very pleasant, well shaded patio, and is located in the heart of downtown Cowansville. My wife had the chicken brochette, I had the lasagne. The chicken was ok, bit a bit undercooked. It came with lots of grilled veggies, and rice. My lasagna was a belly buster, but the sauce tasted like it had too much sugar in it. There were about 8 selections on the two for $25 menu, which included a salad and soup bar. All in all, O patio was a good deal (it's also byob) for a hungry family, and there was lots of room on the patio to get comfortable. The service was good.
A restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the south street. the menu would greatly need to be given to the taste of the day. When the desserts offered are bread pudding, rice pudding or jello, it brings us back in time...The waitress also offered a service absent.
