Avaliação da contribuiçãoHad a mixed experience from one of the restaurants so came here for a top up. Pies were tasty and cakes were ok.
My husband is obsessed with the pies here and makes claims that they're the best he has ever had. Insists we stop here every time we come to our holiday home. Personally I don't eat pies, but they make a good roll or sandwich too and are all very friendly- treat yourself and get a sweet to share because the selection is fantastic!
We called in because we wanted something other than supermarket bread. Their wholemeal and their grain breads were quite nice. The first visit we also partook of coffee and their french vanilla slice and a carrot cake. The french vanilla slice was very nice and not overly sweet. Unfortunately I found the carrot cake too sweet for my taste and the icing even sweeter making the cake not as enjoyable for me as the slice. This cafe bakery is a basic cafe and tables and chairs are fairly basic but it served our purposes adequately.Service was good but I can understand if you call before say about 9.30 as we did the first day there was only one woman serving, but I still found her very good and she served customers in a timely and orderly manner - she even had to make three cups of coffee for us while customers had to wait. I guess one has to be a little patient at times like this. The second day we called in I saw at least three staff serving and everyone was being served very timely. I'd call in again if ever we're in Cowes again.
If you are in the area stop in for a pie, sausage roll and coffee. Very clean establishment with good produce. Recommended
Great place to have a coffee, pie, sausage roll or any one of the other items available. Seating inside and out.
