Otani Japanese Cuisine - Crofton

Best sushi place, worth the drive from Annapolis. Their rainbow tartare is so good and so is their salmon sashimi. The guy on the phone was super nice too.

We got take out from Otani the other night. We usually order from another local sushi place, but their website was down, so we ordered from Otani. Everything was just ok. Really, everything kind of tasted the same despite ordering lots of different rolls. My hubby felt like their Goyza was better than our usual go to, but I didn't agree. I felt like the outside was rubbery and they didn't get that crunchy seer on the outside that I usually associated with those type of dumplings. The flavors of the fish were dull and really I couldn't tell the difference between all of the rolls. The cucumber was crunchy and the avocado was smooth, but overall it wasn't love. If you are eating in, the inside is very nice and the staff is lovely.

Never had a bad experience here! The sushi is made to order by the chefs in view of the customers. The wait staff is super friendly and on top of their ****.

Rude!!! We just finished dinner and barely our drinks and they told us to leave. I don’t care if it’s Friday night, they kicked us out like we didn’t pay. What’s wrong with them? And that was the manager. The food was ok. The sushi rolls are nothing special. Slow service.

Great food! Authentic and great service. I don't live nearby but when I'm back I will visit again!
