Avaliação da contribuiçãoTea Roses tea room is a place where tea is an experience. The owner knows her tea and how to serve lunch and afternoon tea in style. I had the pleasure to visit this tea room several times and took men to tea. Every time they were completely satisfied and enchanted by the atmosphere and service. As founder editor of TEA A MAGAZINE, I traveled the United States to interview, visit and teach people how to open a tea room. I was also the owner of the Olde English Tea Room in Scotland, Ct. for several years in the 80s and 90s. Reservations are always highly recommended because tearooms are not typical fast food restaurants that prepare everything before time. The tea room is not a place to expect with a great American style lunch, it is a place where sampling delicious treats become part of the experience of the civilized custom of tea intake. Plan a special day, make a reservation, and enjoy civil society that the custom of afternoon tea and tea rose tea rooms will take you with.
Amazing organic tea selection. Delicious house made scones and those cucumber sandwiches are to die for! Peggi and her staff are super polite and pleasant. The gift shop is full of fabulous treasures. All in all I would highly recommend high tea at Tea Roses!
Came here for afternoon tea, relaxing atmosphere with tasty tea. Lots if varieties to choose from. I had the Tea Rises blend. Tea fare was really well crafted palette wise, cucumber sandwiches, scones, and wow that lemon curd!! Totally worth the visit!!
What a delightful place with the most calming atmosphere! My friends and I truly enjoyed our visit- the tea and treats were delicious, the gift shop had quite a variety of interesting items and Peggy, the owner couldn 't have been any nicer to us all. The night we went we were able to enjoy the 'special gift ' of the Medium who was quite amazing. Would definitely go again
Best Tea room ever! Perfect afternoon visit for soup, quiche, salad or scones along with your favorite pot of tea. A must visit!
