Avaliação da contribuiçãoI loved this dish ‘HUNAN SPECIAL CRISPY CHILI CHICKEN’, amazing burst of flavors in mouth. This place is authentic and you may struggle finding an option from the menu. Staff is amazing. But for 2 it’s a quite and well served place.
As a native Chinese and international student I can tell you the taste here is undoubtedly representing one of the many Chinese flavors. If you love spicy, you should try; if not there are also fantastic dishes without spicy. The price here is fair, 3 people with 33.33 each person, which includes 4 dishes and a bowl of rice. (We are really full with these… Overall this is a restaurant that worth your time and money.
Presentation of the dishes may give patrons an initial feeling of authenticity of Hunan cuisine. Upon tasting each dish, the star ratings starts to drop. Just to give a few examples, the Hunan special fried rice is a very delicious dish made with pickled long beans and Chinese ham along with fresh chili ?, but the one we ordered failed on all accords miserably, tasting just like pre-cooked fried rice mixed with some pork belly meat. Even the easiest green veggie dish, the veggie wasn’t the most fresh because the stems were hard to chew on.Perhaps we didn’t order their chef’s special dishes, but I was fairly disappointed in its mediocrity and lack of authentic taste.
Delicious food and great service! Dined in tonight and has a great meal with family.Everything was excellent. Definitely try the cumin lamb and the pork soup bao.
Best Hunan restaurant in all of Boston, and I have tried many if not all. Very authentic flavours! The spice level has been moderated to suit more people (vs Hunan death level). My favourite dish is stir fried chicken gizzard with pickled beans. The pumpkin cake and duck neck is also surprisingly addictive. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
