Orange Roll Sushi - Cypress

Only sushi place I go to : orders can take a while when they are busy but otherwise absolutely love their sushi!

I love this cozy sushi place. Its my zen place for a cold Nigori and seasonal uni. Their cuts are fresh and the atmosphere is quiet and calm and can be the occassional hang out place for a good conversation and friends gathering. The rolls are cut big and enough to fill any craving. The taste is as fresh as you can get as if the pier is at the back I will highly recommend this to satisfy any sushi craving.

While I only stopped in for the first time for the lunch special, I can definitely see myself going back for a dinner with hubby. A hidden gem is how I 'd describe this place. Having lived in the area for over 25 years, never really noticed this place. I had gotten my nails done a couple of doors down and needed a quick bite before going to do the rest of my errands. Checking in on Yelp got me a free jasmine iced tea which was very yummy. I got the lunch special as I mentioned. It came with a Calif roll and a shrimp crunchy roll. Plus miso soup. Since I 'd asked if they could serve quickly, and hearing a yes, depending on what you order ...... I was very happy that it came in like, less than five minutes it seemed. The miso soup was some of the best I 've had; loaded with the green vegetable they put in and lots of tofu. Excellent flavor. The rolls were HUGE! And very fresh. You might wonder how you could judge a place based upon these, the most basic of rolls but trust me, the quality, freshness of ingredients and portion sizes are definitely indicative of how the other, more complex dishes would be. Very friendly service with a desire to accommodate and please the customer. I 'll be back. Best of continued success to this great place.

I've been going here for years, and the food is always great, as well as the service. Everything is reasonably priced, and tastes really good. I hope to continue to come here for years after.
