Havent been to a starbucks in a year and decided to try it out today only to be reminded why i go to dutch bros.
This location was closed for a while (assumingly for a remodel or something similar), so I was excited to visit after learning it was open again. Before the remodel, I enjoyed this place since they didn't have a drive-thru, so it was a lot easier to order a drink and get it quick with really good service since they could focus on only customers in front of them. What I was NOT excited about was the huge change in demeanor, attitude, skill and professionality of the staff. With 3 people working, and 3 customers in the store, it took me more than 5 minutes to order and another 10 for my drink. Then, when it was made wrong and pointed out, one of the employees rolled her eyes before taking my drink, looking at it, realizing she made it wrong, and making a new one without any words shared. Finally, when I did get what I thought was my correct drinks, I started noticing a strange taste as I finished my drive into work. I can't confirm what the flavor was, but after giving the drink a swirl I'm confident that whatever container she used to shake my drink (a strawberry refresher), was also used to swirl some other tea or drink from the very bitter taste associated. (That or the actual base of the drink had expired, which I guess could be plausible too.)With so many other Starbucks in the neighborhood, I think I'll just keep pretending this one is closed and go back to the new locations I've been attending instead.
The coffee is overpriced, the scone was a dried out piece of flour, like the attendant.
Awesome staff, but do better, Starbucks. Treat your employees fairly and stop understaffing them. It isn't fair to their physical and mental well-being.
