Louie's Italian And Darien

We love the service staff and the food is excellent, however, the service is way to quick. Appetizers appear less than minutes from ordering, and the entree arrives when you’ve barely finished the appetizer. If you order a bottle of wine, there is no time to relax and enjoy your meal.

What a great place! Having just moved to the area, and just getting married we were looking for a trendy, fun place to have a date night! Louies was suggested and it did not disappoint. Brian (our server) was attentive and laughed with us, the ambiance at the bar was the right combination of classic yet modern industrial! The craft cocktails were full of flavor and not overdone with simple syrup, and the vodka sauce was easily the best I’ve ever had. Overall a great place of a date night drink, meal, or even just to meet up with a friend or two to have apps. We look forward to our next visit.

How fortunate Darien is to have such a charming, excellent, comfortable restaurant in the heart of town. We will make going to Louie’s a regular outing.

Friendly and nice. Very few patrons. Portions were huge.
