Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe food at this restaurant is inexpensive, but the quality is poor. The service from manager Erin was terrible. The senior management is unhelpful and inexperienced. I usually don't complain, but I had a bad experience at this place and wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same thing. I had a hen party event here and the new management was chaotic and disorganized. They tried to charge us more than the agreed price and the food was subpar. The service was slow and we were served lower quality alcohol than agreed upon. The place was empty and overall not worth the time. Even when we expressed our dissatisfaction to Erin, she was rude and unprofessional.
The drinks were fantastic - I'm not sure what kind of magician they have behind the bar, but every drink we tried was delicious! The complimentary champagne to start off the evening was the perfect touch. Now onto the dinner - all of us girls opted for the $45 set menu, which included a choice of two entrees, two mains, and brownie ice cream for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. By the time our mains arrived, we were a little tipsy, but the food helped sober us up and then we continued to enjoy the cocktails. Around 8:30pm, the DJ started playing some of our favorite songs, which was a great touch. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and attentive to our every need - when one of my friends accidentally dropped a glass, they were quick to clean it up. Thank you so much for a wonderful night, Darlo Country Club! We will definitely be coming back again.
I dont really write reviews for places but looking at all the negative reviews for this place, I had to set the record straight! Now, I cant tell you about the experainces those last few people had because, hey its all subjective And theres 2...sides to every story! BUT HERES MY EXPERIANCE AT DCC! Now, it was my 3 year wedding annivessary with my Hubby and we wanted to have a good night out, especially since we both work like absoulte mules, 9-5, 5-6 days a week. I made a booking with Erin and even with my busy schedule, she created time for me and always checked to make sure that all my requests were upheld. When we arrived, the waitstaff took us to our booth, which btw was scattered with rose petals and lit with candles. As soon as we settled in, the waiter came with complimentary glasses of champagne and congratulated us on our annivassary. Wow! Super sweet gesture! Then we ordered our first drinks, I cant really remember what it was but boy it was delicious! The turn arround time for the drinks was perfect as it gave me and ben to have a chat and breathe in the venue. Btw, absoulte beauty. Anyways, after our drinks, we ordered our appetisers, which was the Bruchetta. Light, and not too filling. Got us ready for the mains and we got a couple more drinks in mean time. The owner, erin came up to us and had a chat and introduced herself and she was absolutely charming! Anyways, the night continued, we had our mains, the steaks, and it was cooked to perfection (Mid rare ofcoarse) and we enjoyed that with a nice glass of red. We bid due to the owners, paid our bill and went on our way. Deffinately will return again and I highly recomend this place for anybody! Be sure to check out the place and judge it for yourself! Thank you for everyone at Darlo country club for making our anivessary a memeroble one! <3
My partner and I was walking arround darlinghurst looking for a place to kickback and have a couple of drinks when we were given a flyer for Happy Hour at Darlo Country Club. Never been there before but we thought we give it a go...as $10 cocktails was really tempting. Arrived there after happy hour becasue we had to stop over to say hi to a couple of mates we ran into but they were more than happy to extend the happy hour till 8PM! (Apparently its 5pm- 7pm which is fairly standard) After we were given a booth, we ordered a couple of espresso martinis and began the night. NOT GOING TO LIE, BEST ESPRESSO MARTINI I HAVE EVER TRIED! It took like 5mins for our order to come but the time was worth the wait because there was a fair few people in during the happy hour! Next we tried the SanFran, Mojito and my partner had a Old Fashion. WOW. THATS ALL I GOT TO SAY! The drinks were absoultely amazing just downright tasty! 11/10. Also the venue, WOAH! Its absoultely gorgeous! The fairylights on the roof, the multiple backgrops, and the comfy seating. It felt like it was straight out of a 1940's fairy tale. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DROP BY!
Can’t explain how disappointed I am! I had my hens here and chose the venue months in advance due to high recommendations. Recently has changed owners and are so impossible to deal with! They did not get back to emails and had to chase them!...The service was beyond a joke! I have never been anywhere where the service has been this bad and staff have been so incredibly rude! My friends were trying to talk to Erin the owner to understand why the food was taking so long and when it did come out why it was so badly served along with being half frozen!!! Some of the girls didn’t even receive their food! She threatened to call the police and said to us why are we still here if we are complaining so much! The reason we were still there was because we had prepaid and were wanting dinner! It’s a shame as the venue is so nice however the service is so pathetic! They kept bringing out more alcohol to compensate for the lack of food!! However after drinking most of the day due to my hens we were all in need of a proper meal. We asked for our money back and she said we were not getting it but proceeded to say we can only have 20%! We will be taking the matter further as this is not right! To be given our dinner 2-3 hrs later and more alcohol is not responsible service as are the health and safety of the food they were serving! On that note a few of my guests were pregnant and they could of easily been given food poisoning! Do yourself a favour and NEVER EVER go here!!!
