Avaliação da contribuiçãoSome of the best and most authentic Mexican food in Sydney, though be warned their service and space may turn off some. We started off with Playa Guacamole
Just popped my Cinco De Mayo cherry, and now I wonder why I held out for so long.
What a great time we had here celebrating Mexicos "Cinco de Mayo"!! Marauchi band, sombreros, margaritas and tacos.
Possibly the worst Mexican in Sydney. Corn was more like charcoal - first time I've ever left a corn cob uneaten. Sangria was horrendous - first time I've ever left a half drunk jug of alcohol. And don't even get me started on the guacamole - took an hour to come out, only after our mains when we asked where it was, and looked brown and totally pre-prepared. Of course, if the owner spent more time serving guests rather than feeling up his girlfriend and feeding her our guacamole, perhaps this restaurant would live up to its name. We ended up going back to a bar around the corner and ordering burgers after our meal. Totally do not recommend! The fact they don't have reviews enabled on their Facebook profile tells you everything
I actually tried this restaurant because the place I was originally trying to visit was completely fully booked for the night, and thankfully I was very pleasantly surprised! Tacos were genuinely some of the best I've eaten and the veggie nachos were huge and very tasty. Spicy margarita was good, but not the best in Sydney. Service was friendly but it seemed like the woman's first ever day as a waitress, although I'm fairly sure it wasn't! Although the food was good, I am surprised at the other reviews on TripAdvisor, and I admit, it will make me think twice before revisiting, purely because it isn't terribly cheap and it sounds like plenty of others have had bad experiences. But give it a go and see for yourself!
