Avaliação da contribuiçãoI took the salmon and XO sauce. it was fast, fresh, delicious real eating. everything perfectly cooked with a lot of taste. I loved it!
I feel like some restaurants think we're all stupid and don't know our eating. that's one of them. I ordered two dishes. a Vermicelli salad and some vegetable spring rolls. early rolling had no pleasure in them. in the did was the center...white, so it looked like it was filled with rice? I didn't eat it. the Vermicelli salad contained NO crucibles, not a minze scerrick, coriander, basilikum or fresh chili, therefore no flavor! it was boring, unhealthy, tasteless and buy some more crimson please.
I was here in 2008 and it was a great restaurant at the time. Since then, in 2018, I have again its more like a departure place, but has tables, but was not the same standard as before and not all fans or air conditioning.
Spring rolls and stir the frige bark meat. yawn on the early reels, but the moving frit tasted like something I did in the domestic economic class. over boiled small bark scrap in watery sauce that tear could not absorb to leave a pool. vegges were over boiled, around. point of graying and sagging. really bad. never again.
I was hunting for a better but simple Vietnamese noodle in Kings Cross other than Annam on darlinghurst road was not flavorful. Took me a good 10-12 min to walk from Victoria St William St junction as I missed bus 311. This small restaurant...was simple with hardly any decoration. I was shock no diners there at 7ish on a Wed evening as all others on Victoria St were quite busy. I asked about the vegan noodle soup and initially the friendly waitress said it’s made with pork bone soup. Later she corrected herself that it’s mushroom soup base. However I was told they don’t add Basil leaves in all the pho noodle soups because customers do not like them. And bean sprouts and lemon are not offered for vegan pho. A little strange to have Vietnamese pho with no basil, its flavor would be lost. When I received my vegan noodle, I was sweetly surprised how good the soup tasted. However I still asked them to give me a piece of lemon and more cut chilies. Which greatly enhance the taste too. I believe if they provide basil leaves it will be a 5 Star Vietnamese vegan noodle ! Though no in-house diners, I saw many came to pick up their Uber Eats orders here... I guess their chicken or beef pho must also tasted good. Interesting menu as per photo. Sure nice on a day when you crave for a good wholesome soup noodle, vegetarian or not. They have good variety including side orders salads rice. Chopsticks and spoons are instant ones with serviette provided. I do love to come back to try the non vegan pho if time allows. Prices is similar to Annam ... the two staff can’t speak English very well though friendly.
