Rajasthani Midway Restaurant - Dausa

The food is subpar and way too expensive. It seems like the drivers get a kickback for bringing customers here. I would recommend staying clear of this place!

WARNING FOR TOURISTS!! If your driver takes you to this restaurant, be aware that you may be the victim of a scam. I discovered that they give foreigners a menu with higher prices than the menu for locals. The food and service are terrible. The prices are outrageous. I paid 1200 rupees for 3 cheese naans and a couple of drinks!! This is unacceptable!! If you find yourself here, insist on seeing the real menu. If they refuse, do not eat here!! The drivers are also involved in the scam. This restaurant should be closed down. Be cautious!!

The restaurant had a separate, air-conditioned room, which was a welcome relief from the heat. The food was decent for a quick lunch while traveling between Agra and Jaipur.

Dreadful place. The one star is for the paper, water and soap in the toilets, not the state of the toilets which was dire. We waited over 20 minutes for two drinks and when they arrived the coffee was undrinkable,first bad experience of 7 weeks travel in India! Waiters were shouting at each other, travellers joined in. Horrid.

Didn 't expect this at lunch on a service area halfway between Agra and Jaipur. We ate Mushroom "Green curry with Kashmiri pulao and garlic naan. Delightful. Just spicy enough (medium). Price including a litre of mineral water. 850 INR or 10 USD.
