Golden Sun Chinese - Davis

I ordered delivery from this restaurant for the first time and I have to say, their fried rice is amazing! I had never tried it before, but I was pleasantly surprised. I also forgot that they offer free fried wontons when you spend a certain amount, but they kindly included them with my order. The best part is that the food arrives hot and fresh. I’m really impressed!

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my thoughts about this place. Every time I've visited, the staff have been friendly and helpful in guiding my choices. The food is prepared quickly and tastes fantastic, all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend that everyone give this restaurant a try!

This is the best Chinese food in Davis. Tonight, we enjoyed beef chow fun with black bean sauce, chicken in plum sauce, wonton soup, and salt and chili pepper spare ribs, all of which exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is usually not crowded, possibly due to its unassuming appearance. They offer a take-out menu for both pickup and delivery, as well as a lunch menu. I have been bringing my family here for years and often order the fantastic egg foo young. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, and the owner himself handles the cooking. There are plenty of vegetarian options available too.

I have consistently found the staff to be friendly, and the service is always quick and precise. The lunch specials offer excellent value. While there aren't many restaurants in the area, it's great to have a few quality options and variety. I would highly recommend this place.

This restaurant stands out among all the Chinese restaurants in Davis. My girlfriend loved the veggie chicken, and I found the General's chicken to be excellent. While it is on the higher end price-wise, that’s pretty common for Davis. The only drawback was the delivery time, which took around an hour and 20 minutes. Nevertheless, good Chinese food is hard to come by in this area, so despite the wait, I highly recommend Golden Sun.
