Aurora Inn Restaurant - Dawson

We stayed at the Aurora Inn so dined in the first night. It was very busy but they found us a table on the patio. Service was prompt and attentive. I hade smoked pork loin with vegetables, my husband had herbed chicken breast. Both were tasty and generous serves.

Friendly staff, great schnitzel and wonderful apple pie. Definitely the best food in Dawson City. Worth a stop.

We visited this restaurant with a party of 8 without a reservation made. The restaurant was full but they managed to seat us outside. It was a nice and very sunny evening. Service was very friendly and adequate. I had salmon tartare as a starter and seafood penne as mains. They offer also some local signature dishes. The food was good but not exceptional. There is a variety of wines on the list at affordable prices. Overall friendly and good service with value for money.

Based on other reviews we came for dinner here on our first night in town. The waitress was friendly and made several good suggestions.I had the chicken special which was more than ample for me and my husband had the rack of ribs which he enjoyed and barely could finish the portion. I liked the bright and clean open dining room which was a very comfortable setting to have dinner I felt we got good value overall
