Avaliação da contribuiçãoI had an ale here that was just incredible. in contrast to everything I've ever tried. they burned all 1850 style. they can serve the beer cold and carbonized or classic. I had served a coriander ale cold. one of the best things I've ever tried. I tried a darker ale that was very good. it had a very full taste. atmosphere is really cool. it looks and smells like an 1850 brewery. they can even see that it brewing setup. eating is German, but prepared in modern style. very good quality and for everyone something. They can get everything from a cheeseburger to carefully prepared seafood, all very good quality.
The first impression of the carillon brewery is eccentric. I liked to read the historical material on the outside of the wooden doors. once inside, as it goes back to time. I really enjoyed seeing the costumes, it reminded me of a historical reenactment. I asked the waiter, which beer I should try, and he suggested the berlin white. it was too mad for my pleasure. it was very crisp and vaguely refreshing. I wanted to try some laughs. these German potato cakes have not disappointed. I had feared that they were served with apfelsauce and acidic cream, but the kartoffel was infused with chopped cuts and it was excellent with the acidic sawn, but actually even better with...read more
Very unique and cool experience!. we took a day trip from columbus to dayton to visit carrilon historical park and we were pleased that this brewery had opened in the park. it is house in a huge building and is very airy and open inside. when they go in them, they have a great view of their authentic 1850 style brewed. the host sat and explained a little about the brewery that everything was brewed in an authentic 1850 style, which was exciting to hear, especially as we were in a historic park. the personal is dressed in a typical garb for the 1850s time frame, which was also a fun feature they probably had about 5 6 beers that they brewed there and they read.
Absolute disgrace beer / brew!. we haven't eaten. we were so insulted by their 2 housebow beer and their extremely rude bartender that we came out as soon as possible! Absolute bee each of us in our party of 4 ever had. I'm a brewer. the other 3 in my group in this night are very savy craftsmen. we can't find out when they could make beer so bad! absolutely disgusting, dirty, dirty, chemically, they taste the bee's bee. I could not believe how similar the pale ale and the porter tasted. that's crazy about itself. overall disgrace to brew. also can no longer agree with cinnamongrl's rating above on the personal....read more
Good beer, bad food. The brew part is a really cool experience, and I had a lot of fun learning and participating in 1800's beer making. The volunteer staff have a lot of knowledge and interesting information to share. I enjoyed the ginger beer quite a lot, though it's a bit different from Reed's (for example). I found it not as sweet but still very refreshing exactly how I like it. The food was waaay overpriced. We ordered a sampler basket, which was really bad. It didn't come with the pickles listed on the menu, the bread was cheap toasted rye from a grocery store (think Kroger or Meijer), and the sausages were basically cheap hot dogs. I'm pretty sure they were listed as...read more
