Carmens Deli Bistro - Dayton

The host was exceptionally enthusiastic, and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend the hummus wrap. I will definitely return!

Fresh, fresh, fresh! This deli truly lives up to its excellent reviews. While exploring the scenic Great Miami River Trail, I found myself in downtown Dayton for lunch. Located just a few blocks from Riverscape, nestled in an office tower, this place did not disappoint. The food and service were outstanding. I ordered the Southwest Chicken Slaughter, which was possibly the best sandwich I've ever had. The highlight, though, was the amazing side of Middle Eastern salad, featuring chopped vegetables in a beautifully seasoned dressing. The owner was attentive and clearly took pride in his business and his family recipes. I can't recommend this deli highly enough, and I will definitely make a return visit the next time I'm in downtown Dayton.

It's just a short walk from RiverScape, located in an office tower. The food and service were fantastic. I ordered the southwest chicken wrap, which may have been the best wrap I've ever had. The highlight, however, was the incredible side of a Middle Eastern salad—chopped vegetables tossed in a deliciously spiced dressing. The owner was attentive and displayed great pride in his business and family recipes. I can't recommend this deli highly enough. I will definitely return on my next visit to downtown Dayton.

I've eaten several times here, I'll be back. eating is great, the service is even better. carmen can never joyfully welcome any of his customers with a smile. he really wants them to have the best experience when they visit. he asks his guests to work their names to maintain relationships with everyone. the truthahn club is fantastic I recommend getting rid of it. I'm back in a definitiw.

Did not disappoint. Don't let the address fool you, the entrance is on 2nd street near Jefferson. The blackened salmon on ciabatta was great. The owner and the staff are so friendly it's amazing. He greets all the customers, many who are old friends and many more destined to be. The Ruben and gyro got great reviews, as I'm sure all the rest is. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
