Great food, great taste, hot fresh, always friendly! This Papa John's location RULES! Any time I go to Daytona Beach I always make it a point to order pizza specifically from this location because it's AMAZING! Located right on A1A it's perfect if you're staying in a hotel and need a quick pie. They all use the same ingredients but if every Papa John's baked their pizza this good I'd buy from them more often. They're default setting is a well done bake which is perfect for me and the pizza and garlic knots are always top notch too. I typically do carry out with them and the staff is always friendly and the pizza is ready fast. I don't know what the magic is with this location but this Papa John's could be called the pizza wizards. My local Papa John's is pretty bad so I rarely order from them but this location always does a great job in providing a pizza that's hot and fresh and tastes incredible.
Whatever you do, save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. To the new girl who took my order, you only rung up my pizza and not the cheesy bread. I know mistakes happen but that's not even what bothered me the most. There was another customer waiting for an order, sitting in the only chair in the waiting area. Soon as this customer gets up, me being pregnant and wanting to rest, started walking towards this chair. Here comes the rudest staff member, to come grab the chair he clearly sees me walking to, to then fold it and set it up in the back. That's possibly the rudest thing someone's ever done to me, with zero explanation. On top of not getting everything I expected with my order, I was basically dissed and disregarded like trash. I then asked another staff member, why the guy moved the chair to sit it up folded in the back, the guy asked the rude staff member who then had some smart remark. Still no one could come to me and give me a straight answer as to why someone would see me walking to a chair and think it's ok to swift it up like it's musical chairs. I don't care he could have waited til I got up and left. U don't do that to customers.
I drove a distance to get to this location which said they closed at 11 p.m. only to arrive at 10 to find out that they were closed already. I can understand 30 mins before closing but an hour before is a little extreme. Not only that I tapped on the door only to be treated as if I was begging for food when all I was trying to do is find out why they closed so early. Would never visit again.
Stood at the counter for over 5 minutes and watched a female employee have a personal phone call on the business phone. She never acknowledged me. I walked out. The baker in the back tried to wave me back into the store. No thank you. I will never return.
