The Exchange Coffee, Mercantile Eatery

The Exchange is an awesome place to be! The staff are friendly and kind, the food and drinks are tasty, and the atmosphere is unlike any other coffee shop in the area. If you haven't checked out The Exchange yet, I'd highly recommend it.

I've been to The Exchange twice before. This time I was disappointed. Blaring jazz music (uneccesary) and Moms, with kids running around by the stairs. The crepe was fair hotter temp would have been good. They were quite busy on a Friday morning at 10 a.m.

Food is tasty, unique flavors, however the actual size of the plates themselves, relative to the portion size of food, is way too small. My food takes up 95% of the plate and I feel so uncomfortable eating and if you have a physical limit, the tiny plates make it inaccessible and messy and reiterates the discomfort. Coffees are 100

This is one of the best coffee shops in the country. Period. They have somehow curated a space that you can feel comfortable relaxing or working. Whether you're meeting with a friend, a business associate, or you just want to be by yourself... the exchange has a spot for you. The coffee is good and the food is great! If you haven't had a bubble waffle yet, please do yourself a favor and stop in!
