Jake's Del Mar

To eat one of my favorite places when I'm near Del Mar. The view and atmosphere is obviously fantastic, but the food is really great. All their seafoods are amazing and incredibly fresh. Your Brussel Sprudel appetizer is also mouthwater. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I have never left their dissatisfaction with a part of the experience. A

Great staff, delicious food, generous portions... and the view!!! Spectacular! The prices are not terrible. $18 for huge burgers and the most beautiful pommes of all time. We went to lunch. Dinner prices are much more stapler.

Beautiful location right on the water. Live atmosphere with plenty of seating. Wide range of dishes that even offer vegans. Friendly helpful waiting staff. Great choice for special occasions. If you try to get a place outside the water.

Nice, beachside location with good view, great food, excellent service. A bit expensive, but this is to be expected here. I recommend a reservation. If you eat early enough, you can take advantage of their $7 valet parking instead of paying $10 per hour over the street in public parking. Loved the Hula Cake for Dessert and that we did it for free for our anniversary.

Great service from the moment we got there! They opened the car doors, greeted us inside and the servers were friendly and attentive! The appetizers were well presented and tasty. The spicy cucumber margarita is delicious. The chowder was the only disappointment(still tasty) because I am from New Hampshire and it is hard to find great chowder outside of New England. The burger was cooked medium and was perfect! The hula pie dessert is made to be eaten by a party of 2-4 people and was yummy!
