Avaliação da contribuiçãoI recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Salt Club in Delray Beach, Florida, and it turned out to be a nightmarish ordeal that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Let me preface this by saying that I'm no stranger to nightlife establishments, having frequented numerous clubs and bars across the country, but what I encountered at Salt was beyond appalling. Upon arrival, I presented my ID at the door, as is customary. To my disbelief, the bouncer took one look at it and declared it to be fake. I was dumbfounded. This wasn't just any ID; it was my legitimate, government-issued identification, which I had used countless times without any issues. Yet, the bouncer adamantly insisted that it was fake, without providing any concrete justification or offering me the chance to prove its authenticity. What followed was a humiliating spectacle as I tried to reason with the bouncer, only to be met with condescension and hostility. The sheer incompetence and lack of professionalism displayed by the staff at Salt Club were mind-boggling. Instead of handling the situation discreetly and with tact, they chose to publicly accuse me of attempting to use a fake ID, tarnishing my reputation and humiliating me in front of other patrons. To make matters worse, the management refused to intervene or rectify the situation, leaving me stranded outside the club feeling utterly humiliated and disrespected. It was a degrading experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. In addition to their abysmal treatment of customers, the overall atmosphere of Salt Club left much to be desired. The music was mediocre at best, the drinks were overpriced, and the crowd seemed more interested in flaunting their wealth than having a good time. It was evident that Salt Club prioritizes style over substance, caring more about appearances than creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for patrons. In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting Salt Club in Delray Beach. Not only did they make a grave mistake in wrongly accusing me of using a fake ID, but their lack of professionalism and disrespect towards customers is unforgivable. Save yourself the humiliation and headache and steer clear of this establishment at all costs. There are plenty of other nightlife options in Delray Beach that value their customers and know how to treat them with the respect and dignity they deserve.
Went to Salt 7 for my wife's Birthday dinner. I noted it on my reservation. Arrived 45 minutes before our 6:30 reservation. Seated right away. No one in dining room area, but a bunch of people at the bar taking advantage of advantage of “Happy Hour”. Very noisy and no sound absorbing material anywhere in the room. Concrete floors should have carpet to stop the echo of the loud voices. Shareable's (Salt 7 Sliders) were good and flavorful. Son and wife enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Crispy Rice. For the entree I got the Chilean Sea Bass, wife got Lobster and Shrimp Linguine and my son got the Braised Short Rib. Sea Bass was presented nicely, but was bland with no flavor. My wife's lobster dish was just “okay”. Nothing positive or negative to say about it. The braised short rib was delicious. After dinner, nothing mentioned about the wife's birthday, but no issue there as she'd already been spoiled the entire day. Just a disappointing visit. This was our 3rd time here, although the previous visits which we enjoyed, were more than 18 months ago.
The crispy rice was so hard to bite into but their mac and cheese is out of this world!! I was the only other table seating the room and the other table was loud and obnoxious. Zero consideration and the manager didn't car when I told home how uncomfortable my table felt
Chris the waiter was great but the food was bad. They were out of shrimp and tuna (at the beach at 6:30?! and so they gave us supposedly double lobster on our linguine. It was very bland. Mostly just pasta. Another table got up and left. It's more of a bar than restaurant. Very disappointing for an expensive dinner.
This was a dinner out with friends with whom we go out once or twice a week. Our server, Chris, was attentive, friendly, and efficient. The food was terrific, and the ambience perfect for our group of seniors. The manager or owner treated us to shots of vodka and tequila, and we left feeling valued and happy. We will be back and will be recommending Salt7 to family and other friends.
