Taqueria Monterrey - Denton

This is a local grocery store and taqueria. They offer the best produce in Denton, and the meat market is fantastic. I can't emphasize enough how great the taqueria is; the food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. Overall, I give it a 5/5 for food!

The food was good, but it was served cold. It might have been too early for lunch at 9 AM. I didn't realize there was a breakfast menu until I sat down and noticed it on the other side of the lunch menu. That's what I actually wanted. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5.

Customer service was good. Love the salsa and that they included the potato wedge/pepper. Would've liked to see some cotija and more flavor in the barbacoa. Definitely was the absolute max I'd pay for a quick taqueria meal, but it was good and I'll be back.

A good find in Denton where you can get authentic Mexican food. And take care of your Mexican food cravings. From tacos to platters;we tried the taco plate and the torta plate they were both really good and very filling; however I would definitely recommend a bit more flavor in your meats;and I would definitely try it again in the future and hope a better experience.Kid-friendliness: Seemed like a great place to take kids with the family as we witnessed several families in there.Parking: The parking was a bit confusing because it was late at night and we missed the nearest parking to the actual restaurant.
