This place is so good. We lucked out and got to sit down right away at 6pm on a Friday. The hand rolls are delicious, we got the blue crab, shrimp, scallop, spicy tuna as well as the chili tuna and wagyu. Highly recommend Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Roll, Hand Rolls, Tuna
Do not mistake minimalism with the sad menu this place offers. They have seafood salad hand rolls made with little or no talent different fish but similar as salad mixes. The sashimi is okay (pre sliced? but there is no artistic effort to make anything else. It's not noble minimalism, but instead an uninspired menu of grocery store quality hands rolls (called a specialty but reflective of the lack of genuine training of true sushi chefs . Good effort for the hard to find Japanese craft beers, but fresher stock would benefit the IPAs.
I can't say enough nice things about this place. The owner cares, and it shows. The handrolls here are awesome, and the folks are awesome. Do yourself a favor and try the lobster handroll!
For 18 dollars I received 3 of some of the smallest rolls I 've ever gotten at a sushi place. Menu is tiny, and simple like it 's a good thing. Granted, the flavor was on point, they are using very fresh stuff, but holy moley is this place a trap for people with way too much money and no appetite. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
