Avaliação da contribuiçãoFour of us staying in a nearby holiday home decided to have dinner at this restaurant. We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to get a nice table in the cozy bar area next to the wood stove. We ordered from the simple menu and everyone enjoyed their meals. The local beer we ordered was also delicious. The prices were quite reasonable, with the main courses averaging around £10, which is a good value these days. There was a nice atmosphere in the bar and we would definitely consider dining here again.
Dining at this restaurant is fantastic, with top quality, and very generous home-cooked meals. The place is very clean and the staff is very personable, they couldn't do enough for us. I can't wait to return soon.
We stopped at The Crock and Glass for a quick bite to eat. I had barked in a peppercorn sauce and my partner had ham and mushrooms, along with a pint and coffee. The food was delicious and served promptly, with any inquiries handled smoothly. It's a great spot to grab a meal, so if you're passing through Buxton or touring Haddington and need a place to eat, definitely consider giving The Crock and Glass a try.
Beautiful pub and restaurant with great dining and beautiful spacious rooms. we were as family of three with two dogs and they offer cookies and water dishes in the rooms for dogs. would be highly recommended.
A very good place to spend time in. Good food, quiet (no musac), parking and good coffee. Worth a visit. Strangely, not on Google Maps, they are missing out on business by not being on it.
