Habanero's - Des Moines

This was my first time dining here, and it was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I'm so glad we ordered the fresh guacamole on the side—it was amazing! We'll definitely be coming back.

My husband and I dine here frequently. The soups and main dishes are outstanding. The only thing I don't enjoy are the nachos; they are quite bland and lack toppings, making them visually unappealing.

Tonight, I ordered my usual meal that my partner and I have gotten from this place at least once or twice a week for the past two months. Normally, the total comes to around $32 to $37 after the tip. However, I noticed that my new total for the same order jumped to $38 before tip. I asked the girl who answered the phone why it had increased, mentioning that I've never paid $38 for my regular order. I wasn’t rude, but she seemed unsure of what to say and simply repeated the total again. The food is great, but the front service and pricing are frustrating!

I was greeted with a smile, chips and Salsa.I ordered a number 7. 1 Beef Enchilada, 1 Tamale, rice and beans on the side. Really delicious.I'm a stickler for great rice. My grandmother Nasha was from Mexico and made the best rice and this place has relatively good rice. Made just right.?? I'll be back again!!!

Food is incredible. Atmosphere and cleanness is second to none. Prices are very affordable also. If you are in the mood for Mexican I would highly recommend you make a trip to Habanero's. You won't be disappointed.
