It was a while since my last visit because of highway construction, it was a pleasant surprise that they were still open after all closures. The food is as good as years ago. It's one of my favorites now.

One of the many most important restaurants in the Mexican city in Detroit. The food is great here... rarely had a bad meal. The portions are also generous post-pandemic in contrast to many other places. Prices are affordable. Recommend a drop for lunch or dinner when in the area. Then meet the Mexican bakery on the street for a sweet treat.

I lived in the area and always loved eating here. A friend and I tried to decide where we went for lunch, and I suggested here, so we drove out near Toledo. It was so satisfying not to eat in my favorite Mexican restaurant after a few years. We both had a great meal and the service was great.
