The Old Shillelagh - Detroit

This is a huge party bar that I have been avoiding since college, but their vegan menu is incredible for the trip out (and the occasional late night out). the mushroom gouda burger is phenomenal and the chicken pliers are a great new supplement. the brezeln w/queso and nachos are also great selection.

Has vegan offers, vegan ranch, interesting vegan burgers. absolutely loved this place. would go again

I like the mushroom smoked gouda burger, they use beyond. the vegan caesar dressing her put on her is really good. they also have a beautiful vegan nacho cheese, which is good with fries or soft brezels. I also had the vegan braincakes I liked.

MOST amount of vegan options I’ve seen in a long time. I highly recommend vegan Shepard’s pie if you’re into that. I’m here for two days but I’m definitely going back to to try something else or possibly the same thing. It’s kind of a college bar... definitely a pub vibe and the service is okay but great food!!! Update 12/4/21: vegan Shepards pie and carnivore Shepards pie is under construction due to a new chef. I got the vegan chili dog and it was good. Comes with fries. Not really picture worthy. They lie about their vegan/vegetarian options. I confronted a waiter and told her I don’t think my food is vegan and it doesn’t appear vegan (based on my observation and experience). She assured me it was, then later on after speaking with the chef she came back and said I’m sorry we made a mistake. Like wow…
