Avaliação da contribuiçãoLocated at the bottom of Temple Road (in Mcleod), is the small café Tenyang, offering the best coffee in Dharamsala. We discovered it the day we went to see the Namgyal gompa, which is located in the complex where the Dalai Lama resides. It was very hot when we left the temple, and what better way to cool off than with a cup of coffee? Not just any coffee, but this café's speciality. A blended coffee with whipped cream and melted chocolate on top...in a giant glass, so you won't be left wanting more while watching life go by in this little piece of "Little Lhasa" on a summer afternoon. The place is very small, with only two tables on the terrace and a few more inside. There are some delicious homemade desserts and a few snacks, but nothing compares to the coffee-ice cream combo.
The specialty coffee at Teayang is made with whipped cream and melted chocolate on top, served in a giant glass that is perfect for enjoying the sights of Lhasa on a summer afternoon. The cafe itself is cozy, with only two tables on the terrace and a few more inside. While they offer some delicious homemade desserts and snacks, the real star of the show is their coffee.
