Dining at this restaurant is wonderful. The food is extremely tasty compared to other dhabas in Sonapur. Local specialties here are a must-try, especially the Sunga pork and pork dishes which are delicious. The only downside is that the service is slow. However, if you have some time to spare, this place is worth visiting. Enjoy a beer or cocktail while waiting for your food, or engage in some betting at the race which, if done responsibly, can be a fun activity for everyone.
If you're looking for a quiet and affordable dining experience, Dekachang is the perfect place for you. I highly recommend trying their traditional dishes, such as the Sunga rice with sun-covered pork. You won't be disappointed!
If you find yourself in Guwahati and have a hearty appetite for authentic Northeastern tribal cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. Located in Sonapur, 20 kilometers away from the city, the restaurant offers a beautiful natural setting for dining. The food is fantastic, but don't expect luxury here. It's all about enjoying the pure, traditional flavors in a peaceful natural environment. Visitors can even bring along badminton rackets, a cricket bat and ball, or a DSLR camera to capture the beauty of nature. It's a wonderful place to relax and find inner peace.
It is a very good place for a day out especially when whether is good. Nice lawn and good cottages. Food is also very much local. You will find may traditional things like chicken cooked in bamboo. You can also test small fried fish. But...late night parties are not advisable because the road which connect this place to the highway is not very good. One more this this restaurant doesn’t serve peanuts. . So for munching you have to find something of your test.
