We have dined here quite a few times having sat in and also had the take away service. We also have been to family gatherings were the cosy has catered the food. No matter which option you choose , it's delicious. Staff are really friendly and polite and the food comes quite quickly. Prices are fab too. Love going here when in the area. Highly recommend this place.
Excellent soup. We had a lvoely lunch there while cruising through Donegal and Slieve League. We had a sandwich and cup of soup that was well prepared.
Local(ish) cafe /restaurant to us and consequently we eat here quite a bit. The staff are always top notch, food is always served promptly and we'll presented, hot and generous portions. Great home cooked meals and the quality shows as its always busy. A little gem of a place that's a little off the beaten track, but do yourself a favour and take the detour to eat here. You won't be dissapointed. Well done cosy corner, reputation deserved.
About 5 minutes off the N15 left of Killygordon is the small town of Crossroads. There is a small but homely corner cafe that we drove past and when looking for a stop out of the rain called in for a cup of tea. You walk in past the chip shop counter and into an old style diner with red banquettes. Obviously used well by the locals was busy both visits. We were staying locally and decided to go back on our last night in the area. 4 adults and 4 kids. The menu was extensive and as healthy or artery clogging as any of the group could want. There was a specials menu and I would travel back a long way back for the steak and chips. We were even offered fresh pints and they were brought in by the barmaid from the next door pub, which certainly ticked all the boxes for us.
