Taco John's - Dover

I wish I could give this place zero stars, but it's not and option. I don't live in the city, but I often have different shops and stops when I'm in Dover. This visit was especially TERRIBLE. I went through the drive and had two separate commands. The first order had two meals (for me mt husband) and the second order had a meal. (For my mother) I checked the bags and noticed that my two bags of chips had a cheese. We ordered the chips to dive as sides, so I was confused why it had only one bath. I went in to let her know I was missing a cheese, and the girl told me that she put two in there. I said there were 3 orders from chips, but there were 3 bags of chips 2 cheese sauces.? She said I was the one she put in there, so I know I put it.? I told her it wasn't right and asked her if she accused me of lying? She said she knew she was laying her in there. I have no reason to lie to a dollar cup of cheese sauce. She went back and forth with me before she agreed to give me the cheese. I wanted to make my wallet pay for it because I didn't fight her back and forth. When I came in, I offered to pay for it and told me I won't stand because I'm not called a liar or a thief. I told her I own a coffee shop and would call NIE a liar to each of my customers. I told her I had no reason to lie and get a $1 cup of cheese for free. You and a girl argue with me and told me people lie to get things for free.? Well, I personally will not go out of my way to steal a $1 thin cheese. I don't have to make this financially ridiculous. Never in my life was I treated as these ladies treated me, it was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I even offered the manager to come into my car and check my bags and my car because I hate to be called a liar or a thief again. I was absolutely shocked that this woman is the manager. I'll never go back here, the food is medium, simple and too expensive. I wish I had returned her all the food.

Served hot and fresh delicious food.. Service was excellent!! We waited for our order, but everything was fresh. We came by the ride about 8:15-8:30. Thanks to the crew at Taco John's. Until the next fishing trip.

The Mango Shrimp Road tacos are fire!!! You're so good, I highly recommend them. I also had the ole bites with Nacho cheese and the Mini Mexican donuts. They were good, but the star was the tacos.

Staying from out of town and thought I'd stop at this known Taco place in town. BIG MISTAKE! Went through drive thru and ordered their equivalent to a Power Bowl at Taco Bell. I usually get without beans rice, extra chicken. (Diabetic). And I got practically nothing with maybe 5 small squares of chicken...WHERES THE CHICKEN? Let alone the extra?!? And the prices?? Wow. Not again...Only Taco Bell for me...better yet, a real Mexican Restaurant.

Price is on the high side but for the difference in flavor and original approach to combo items such as getting a bucket of hash rounds with dipping cheese sauce is a major plus. The food is hot and fresh. The chicken strips are small but they taste great. They have a 1,2,3 dollar menu for those on a budget. I had the spicy chicken and potato burrito grilled. If you want different and tasty, check this place out. Staff was friendly as well.
