Mitchs Restaurant - Drayton Valley

This may be the top spot in Drayton Valley. The decor certainly gives off that impression. There is ample parking available. The veal cutlet was truly breaded, not the typical commercial coating. It came with a generous side of gravy and grilled mushrooms. The mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables were also made in-house, not from a pre-packaged product. The service was excellent.

Placed a take out order for 3 topping pizza and extra cheese, Sunday evening around 6:30, got the pizza home and was really disappointed in the amount of toppings. It was beef and mushroom bacon literally nothing but cheese a few crumbs of beef few pieces of mushroom. Last pizza I buy there. Paid for extra cheese and got what I thought would be the normal amount of cheese. Never again..

Rib were alright that was about it. Rice was over cooked and the vegetables were under cooked. I ordered a Heineken and the waitress asked me if I wanted a double. It's Beer) That's all the time I'm gonna waste on this place.

Main reason for this location was meeting up with a group of 8 friends. Nice restaurant, clean with friendly staff and good service. Had breakfast buffet which looked ok but did not try. Just had items like burgers, clubhouses, spaghetti, etc. Everyone said was good. Fair prices as well.
