Bistro De La Gare - Drummondville

I absolutely adored this place! The staff was incredibly friendly and the other customers were even more welcoming. We felt like we were part of the community. The band, The Hangover, was fantastic - amazing music and easy on the eyes. We will definitely be returning!

It looks like tartar is their specialty but otherwise the hamburger and sandwich were dry, cold fries but the pretty waitress. You must be patient, but given the lack of staff anywhere you have to wait. the atmosphere, setting and choosing the gin are excellent! I recommend for a good place for those who continue to, we leave beautiful entrances and tartar while taking a good drink but not for a good meal.

We visited the Bistro de la Gare on a Monday afternoon in August. We were looked after quickly and seated in the bar area. The restaurant was fairly quiet (it was about one pm). Our server was efficient and friendly, explaining the specials well. We ended up choosing items from the À la carte menu: Sandwich au poulet, mangue et avocat (chicken, avocado and mango sandwich) and Croque-bistro. Both sandwiches are offered with house salad, Caesar salad or French fries. We chose the house salad. The sandwiches were great, as were the salads. The waitstaff realized that we were waiting to take a train at the nearby train station, and so offered that we leave our bags for safekeeping at the bistro and visit the neighbourhood. Most appreciated.
