The Cock Bull - Dublin

I am absolutely disgusted. I have just been for dinner in the **** and bull coolock. We were dining outside as there were not enough tables indoors with the Liverpool match being on . I went out with my partner and our four year old daughter. Just as we were eating our food a security guard approached us and asked us to leave as he was convinced we were smoking weed. Out of everyone in the outdoor seating area he accused us with a child having a family dinner. I was so unbelievably humiliated. Once the security realized it wasn't us he walked off with not even an apology given. For anyone who is considering visiting this place I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

Great place to have a pint, they have a lovely garden and music is good, so far the best pub in reheny!

I have visited the **** and bull since opening , the food is really nice but one thing I have noticed is portion sizes of garlic dip and pepper sauce have gotten dramatically small but the price is still the same , sometimes going here for food can be nice other times so many tables have reserved signs your standing at the bar with no floor staff helping , on some visits also i have needed to go 'find ' staff to try get my order taken.... all and all average food wouldn be my first choice

We had a really nice evening here on Friday night: we both had the classic burger, which was excellent, and shared the chocolate fudge cake, which was a step up from what I'd expect from a pub. The serving staff were all very friendly, helpful and quick. It's a big, modern-style pub with plenty of tables and the atmosphere was really good. The only downside for us (at the risk of sounding old, and we're only in our 30s) was that it was a bit noisy for holding a conversation, but that's not unusual in a pub. Asking for a gin and tonic I got Cork gin, which isn't the best, so maybe specify if you want something else. We'll definitely be going back.

I must say the food was gorgeous, my husband and I got a roast beef dinner each with all the trimmings, we were very impressed at how nice the dinner was the roast beef was tender the mash was creamy the veg just right, dessert was delish too, overall we were very happy!
