The Hill - Dublin

The ambiance is pleasant and it's great to see the restaurant thriving. Unfortunately, the service is terrible. We waited at least 10 minutes to be served at the bar as the staff cleaned glasses and ignored customers who were ready to pay.

Lovely pub with a good selection of beer on draught but best drink outside as there are giant TVs showing football on every corner.

Great place refurbishment is excellent, big improvement on the old Hill. Really friendly, welcoming staff. Best of all they welcomed our 4 legged monster and even fed her a few treats! No surprise that Fiadh fully endorses this 5 star rating.

The Hill is a great space with an interesting and varied selection of beers on tap from local craft breweries and more. Recommended.

Went on a Monday night for the steak deal. Was served a plate of cold mushrooms, cold onions and a cold steak. The only thing hot was the peppercorn sauce and the chips. There was only 4 other customers in the place when I arrived and the chef was stood at the counter twiddling his thumbs so it's not like the kitchen was even under pressure. Needless to say as someone who lives locally I won't be wasting my money here again.
