Pyg Cafe - Dublin Road, Ratoath

I was worried about the service before coming here but when I saw their pizza was a Michelin guide I thought I would take the chance. Not only was the service so so good but that PIZZA. I've never had anything like it. It was hands down the best I have ever had.

The space is very beautiful and inviting. But the owner manager is always pointing the finger, is very unfriendly ... Or are going to spend money, or if they are just to drink a coffee will be treated very bad.

Portions were very small and found some food very lacking in flavour. Staff were slightly rude, barging by us

Ohhhh lovely spot for a quick bite to eat! Busy (but not uncomfortably busy) during lunch which is always a good sign. Small enough menu, but they have a good selection. Make sure to check their specials board! Food comes out really fast, which is ideal when you've got an hour for lunch. The quesadillas are outrageously tasty. Might be too big for lunch if you want to skip on that sluggish feeling. I got the goats cheese beetroot salad. The picture says it all. It was mouth watering. Really big portion, felt like I was eating it for days. Reasonably price..it's worth it! I would recommend. They also have vegan banoffe cups which they were out of unfortunately. Maybe next time!

Love this place! Have been here a few times and for me this is the perfect location for some quick brunch during an afternoon of shopping in town. A great lunch menu to start with which offers tapas, delicious salads, gourmet sandwiches soups or even if you are just looking for a liquid lunch! So far everything I have tried deserves a thumbs up especially the goats cheese, pesto and sundried tomato on an olive bap and side of patatas. The nachos and quesadillas are also a winner, but be warned portions are huge! One of their delicious cocktails is also a must if it's a weekend lunch!
