Avaliação da contribuiçãoThere's nothing quite like a flavorful soup to brighten up a winter day, and we were thrilled to discover Oolang Asian Cuisine during our visit to Dubuque. The Red Curry Coconut soup was a delightful blend of sweet and spicy curry, fresh chili pepper, tangy Chinese sauerkraut, sweet corn, bean sprouts, and more, all served over rice noodles. My wife enjoyed the Miso Ramen, which was equally delicious, packed with noodles, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and topped with tender braised pork belly. The owner, Ken, was very welcoming and eager to share details about the recipes.
Quick, fresh and tasty take out. Spring Rolls good. Beef Basil stir fry very fresh and tasty. I especially love that the guy on the website (I assume owner, etc) is there on a Wednesday crushing service. Suggestions- spring roll sauce is generic sweet chili sauce. Take that sauce base and make it better. I asked for 'as spicy as possible. ' The 'hot ' isn 't spicy to me. Add an option of heat level for my D-bag gotta have spicy type! I 'd pay more!
With a few vegetarians in our group, Thai restaurants work out well for us and this one surpassed our expectations. Pleasant service, soft decor and very good food! The red curry, the pad Thai and the sake were all tastefully made and left us very satisfied. Would recommend to anyone in the Dubuque area.
The food is excellent! You can expect to spend about $20 per person. The restaurant is quite small, so if you're going with a larger group, seating might be a bit challenging, particularly for parties of four or more. However, it has a wonderful atmosphere that's perfect for enjoyable conversations.
Having lived in NYC for nine years, I've sampled nearly all the top Thai restaurants the city has to offer. Oolong truly exceeds most of them. Their Pad Thai is one of the finest I've ever tasted, and the service is exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
