Avaliação da contribuiçãoA really fantastic experience. rène was a wonderful host, welcoming and helpful. the whole table dipped so delicious on the black bone! and we had to finish a beautiful apfelstrudel. can highly recommend this place.
Everything was so good in this place. Can't complain about anything here. I went to this restaurant to try the authentic state food of NRW (Rheinischer Sauerbraten). The dish was so good and level upto my expectations
Food was OK but the portions were not very generous. The waiter was surly throughout and demanded to know how much tip I wanted to add to my card payment. I said I would leave cash on the table for any tip. Didn 't leave a tip and he ran out to the main door after us screaming Thanks for the tip! in my wife 's face. Totally unacceptable behaviour and this guy should be sacked as apparently he has treated other customers in a similar way. Avoid this place. The waiter in question was a 50 odd year old in scruffy jeans and braces.
We only wanted to drink something, we sat for half an hour until someone came to take our order. They didn’t sell warm drinks, only cold. We waited for 45 min and we never got our drinks. We left eventually and they didn’t say anything.
Fine restaurant with a typical German cuisine. My favourite is mostly the Schweinshaxe, but this time I went for the cordon bleu, which is really tasty when properly prepared. It taste good, but not specially good. The fries where also fine but nothing special. They could have been a bit more royal with mayonnaise instead of a small 5gr tube. It was a busy day and the service was a bit slow, but the staff was always friendly! Not a bad restaurant, but when you want to enjoy a nice beer, do not take the Frankenheim Alt, cause it's not something special at all. The apfelstrudel was enjoyable, still warm and a nice dessert.
