Schwan Düsseldorf Altstadt

The black looks a little old-fashioned from the outside, but it's not. very friendly staff, tasty eating and afterwards they can make the evening wonderful with the cocktails in the happy hour. the super-central location is just a few meters from the castle square/from the Rhine.

Great location right at the düsseldorfer burgplatz with a view of the castle tower and the Rhine. in front of the Schwan, next to the well-known bike racket, there are numerous tables and chairs, so that with beautiful weather many can sit out. I especially like the breakfast buffet. from warm to cold, or hearty to sweet, everyone will find something for their taste. price-performance ratio is peerfekt!

In the swan, for example, Corona rapid tests are offered by Medicare. These are excellently organized and the staff friendly. For two visits (despite the time before Christmas) only about 5 minutes waiting time. You have to book an appointment on the operator page covid-testzentrum.de. Result came to the phone after a short quarter of an hour.

Stopped in with family, 7 of us, around 8pm on Wednesday evening. We were able to get a table right away, even though it was busy. Our server was friendly and helpful with bringing out both German and English menus. We ordered schnitzel, currywurst, and a couple of appetizers. My schnitzel was great and I tried the currywurst, which was also delicious. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
