Avaliação da contribuiçãoI dropped in for lunch yesterday and grabbed a chicken burger to take away. It was amazingly delicious! A very friendly cafe with efficient staff. I don't drink coffee but I've heard reports that it's very good. Thanks guys! I'll be back :)
A lovely change to this cafe which seen several incarnations from Indian to fish'chips. Pretty little outdoor tables for two and a bigger one for a group, and indoors a couple of lovely old wooden dining tables. Food to match, real home-cooked goodies. I was in for morning coffee so chose a little applecake from several tempting options. It was served with whipped cream and a dollop of berry fruit, yum! Coffee in a comfortably sized cup was hot and tasty. I sat out in the sunshine, nice in the calm morning air, and watched the passers by on the canal bank. Some photo art for sale on the walls and a few local specialties on the shelves. The service was prompt and friendly, so I'll be going back for a light lunch one day soon, having seen some delicious looking savoury items on display.
I have had excellent experiences at East Side restaurants in Red Deer and Edmonton, and mostly positive experiences in Camrose. This was my first time trying the East Side restaurant in St. Albert.
I decided to give East Side Mario's another chance today after a terrible experience last summer.
We were searching for a restaurant with generous portions and a casual atmosphere, so this place turned out to be a great option.
