During my first visit to this restaurant, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. All the deli meats were sliced to order, the bread was fresh, the toppings were perfect, and the staff were friendly. My sandwich was delicious; it reminded me of a classic NYC deli sandwich.
I want to share a negative customer service experience that my husband had with the supervisor at this location. It all started when he attempted to pay for $60 worth of subs with a $100 bill. The woman at the cash register exhibited some of the worst customer service skills my 60-year-old husband has ever encountered. For some reason, she refused to accept the $100 bill. Although my husband could have used a credit card, he ultimately left without the subs. He later called the store to voice his disappointment, only to hear her laughing at him. He was shocked that someone in a customer service role could be so dismissive and unaware of basic customer service principles. My advice to her would be to find a job that doesn't involve interacting with the public. There is simply no excuse for her behavior, so please don’t justify it.
The grilled portobello mushroom Swiss sub was absolutely delicious and quite satisfying! It’s a great meat-free option.
It was great, just like always. I couldn’t add mushrooms through the app, but I usually do when I’m in the store.
