We stopped by Tessa's this afternoon for a quick afternoon cream tea stop, and what a place it was! The location was lovely, though the tables did need a wipe down and cleaning, it was a busy day but there was a number of tables occupied by dirty plates and cups. The only other downside was the staff could do with being a little happier too! That being said, the food and the venue were fantastic. We ordered their afternoon cream tea and it was delicious! See the pics for proof. The venue was stunning and albeit needing cleaning, the setup with the back garden and the gorgeous interior was fantastic! It's well worth a visit to Tessa's if you are in the area and it can be very easily reached from Dunster Castle, just a minute away from the National Trust parking lot.
Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. Absolutely perfect for our needs. Nicely decorated, spacious rooms. Breakfast was fantastic and staff lovely and helpful. Also very good at catering for my coeliac daughter lots of gluten free options. Would definitely return if ever in dunster. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
Didn't stay in B&B, so cannot comment on the rooms, only the café side, very old house, with exposed beams, food was good and not expensive, service friendly and helpful. Service: 4 Location: 5
A wonderful cafe/B&B in the heart of Dunster. George and the team made us feel very welcome during our stay. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable and we had great views of Dunster high street. A prime location for a Dunster get away. A great menu in the cafe that runs through the day, there’s a wide range of options and they cater for all. All of our meals were delicious. We will absolutely stay here again! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Great value
