May Palace Restaurant - Durango

I love this place!! Great food for a good price, great service and kind staff. It is a great place to sit down and talk over a good plate of food.

Just stopping in Durango for a few hours. Found this little gem on Main. Pretty clean and nicely decorated. Was seated immediately. Our waitress was humorous and efficient. Large menu. Got our food very quickly. We got the combo plate and shrimp w/lobster sauce. Both were very tasty! The meat was not fatty and the sauces were not overwhelming. Each low priced lunch plate comes with veggies, soup, a wonton and an egg roll. I would eat here again!

33 years in business! This little Chinese restaurant was great! Stopped by after a ghost tour, (of which one of the stories was about May), and met May. She was a blast. Food was spectacular, prices were VERY reasonable. Highly recommended!

Good food. Little different than what I am use to on the east coast. Egg rolls were very good but very thin/small. Would have gotten two if I had known. I really enjoyed the general tso but you can taste a lot of ginger. It was a good thing I like ginger! Not as spicy as I would have liked but still very good!

Good Chinese restaurant in the city. parking is a little tricky, so ready to look for a place and weekdays is pay meters parking with cash or card. good prices, good food, good service. also many shops and shops on the same block for going after eating. fantastic ice business right on the road. we highly recommend.
