Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe name Monsieur and the fact that all the staff are male seem to suggest that this is not a restaurant for women, but that is absolutely false. Located across from the stylish hotel Monville in the Palais des Congres area of the city, this small restaurant and its sturdy staff of hipsters see to it that the service and the food are both great. I was part of a Christmas party we had a set menu with three options for each dish. The winner was the tender fried calamari. I also tried a delicious leak soup and a fine mushroom risotto. There are no culinary surprises here no wildebeest stuffed with curcuma shoots, or Ushuaia penguin tartare frozen in a giant ice cube , but what was delivered was quite good. There are several light meal and tasty vegetarian choices, so all mademoiselles and madames should be able to enjoy this hangout as well.
We were staying in a hotel nearby and walked past Monsieur on our way to find a restaurant elsewhere. The other restaurants were full so we returned and were lucky enough to be seated immediately. The food was delicious and the service attentive. We felt very lucky to have come across this not so obvious gem.
We were delighted with our find and enjoyed our appetizers (carrot and ginger soup and also the roasted vegetables) .our entrees were creative half moon Carrot ravioli in a delicate creamy sauce was very flavorful as was the pasta with seafooddish in a tomatoe sauce base. Everything was fresh and served hot. Delicious bread was also included. It is a little pricy but it was really good
Great ambiance, amazing food, overall a great experience. Definitely will be coming back to check out there upcoming menu chances !
