Avaliação da contribuiçãoGreat experience! They had organized everything and well planned for our large group, the staff was so friendly and made us welcome! When we finished the swimmer and arrived at the SOC, it was so beautiful and the food smells delicious. We played a few rounds of corn hole and sat on the benches watching the river. The drivers had taken the rides perfectly and we never had to wait on a van/bus in both directions. Five stars!!! Would definitely use it again!!
We had a great first swimmer down the Saluda will definitely come back! SOC employees were welcoming and professional and made the process easy. The shuttles were nice, the driver was funny and informative as he gave instructions / advice how to start what to expect, and how to leave. The pipes were good, and the float only took about 2 hours. It ends at a beautiful estate with a brewery, so bring a dry bag with shirts (required for brewery) and IDs/credit cards to sneak a beer after the float!
We only bathed this past weekend and had such a great time!!! Very cool and relaxing swimmer! Great friends, music, cold drinks and laughter!
We had such a great time to bathe today! We? ve before, but this was probably our second time under new management and they allow not only dogs but treat them super good! Luckie got his own tube and felt like a king! The staff was friendly and accommodating, we booked online before the time and overall it was easy and painless. Thank you for a great day, we will be back soon!
Wife and I rented River Pod 1 as a part of our trip, stayed for two nights. We arrived early, staff was more than happy to let us check in early. Pod was clean and tidy. Pod 1's side opened up very easily, and was able to lock when closed. They accommodated us by taking us tubing when nothing was scheduled. They took our picture via my old Polaroid, which turned out wonderfully. We were able to (attempt to) fish from our pod's location. We did not have the time to sample what 13 Stripes River Lodge had to offer, but it was really busy the night before we left. The only con I have about this stay, is, when we experienced heavy rains due to a thunderstorm, the side of the pod across from the door leaked not a small amount. We tossed a couple shirts and a towel under the drips and were fine. Also keep in mind if the solar panel they use to charge the batteries, for night power, does not get enough sun during the day, you won't have any power at night. Not a big deal, just an observation. All in all, solid stay. Will definitely stay here again
