Avaliação da contribuiçãoSo I came here a few weeks ago for dine-in and did takeout yesterday. They are not your typical Americanized special rolls kindda place, it's actually more of an authentic Japanese sushi place.I loved food and service but I have to give them one less star coz even though we kept asking for No Wasabi both times, the sushi pieces still came with wasabi. ? (the server wrote it AND specifically told the chef loud and clear)Regardless, I loved their selection of Uni (sea urchin) and Chutoro (medium fatty tuna) ?Hopefully the chef won't put the wasabi on our sushi next time?! ?
There is no better Japanese cuisine than at Tomo's.I have traveled to Japan, and tried local restaurants with the freshest fish. I can honestly say that Tomo’s ? presentation, flavor, dedication and talent puts him above those others.Tomo’s ? is one of the few places in NJ where you can get such authentic delicious Japanese cuisine.
The taste is pretty simple and straightforward. The price is reasonable. Staffs were friendly and helpful. あん肝 was delicious, ネギトロ手巻き was perfect, 中トロ also served generously. Definitely a place I would recommend !
Sushi is always fresh and delicious! Truly a hidden gem
Yesterday was our first dinner at Tomo's in more than a year; it was superb!!! We had thinly sliced fluke sashi cold and sweet and firm- Tomo's special gyozos which are special lotus root, dancing mushroom and shisito pepper tempura each of which was delicious, not greasy, and different, and yellow tail and blue tuna handrolls which were so fresh and delicate and perfect.
