As Pork Store Italian Fine Foods Of East Islip

I asked my wife, who isn’t Italian and insisted she didn’t need a shopping list, to pick up a few items this morning. She said the staff was incredibly friendly, even though she got a bit confused and couldn’t remember everything she needed! The lard bread is the best I’ve ever tasted, and the gelato is outstanding. I’m really looking forward to visiting myself to check out all their offerings, but so far, I’m very impressed!

I'm very disappointed. My husband picked up two hero sandwiches, and all I can say is, where's the meat? We've been coming here for years and usually go out of our way to get sandwiches from this deli, but this time they were terrible. There was hardly any cold cuts, and even the lettuce was scarce. The four tomatoes were paper thin. We're so let down. We spent $40 on two heroes and some cookies, and it feels like a waste. Next time, I'll just go to a local deli. It’s not worth the trip or the price!!!

The food is delicious, but the younger guy working behind the counter has a really unpleasant attitude! He always looks annoyed when you ask for service. Since there's another pork shop just 100 feet away, I think I'll make the switch.
