Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe pizza at this restaurant is fantastic - absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the tandoori chicken. We had to wait 30 minutes for our table, but that was to be expected at such a busy place. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are very friendly.
Although there were some negative reviews, I decided to try this restaurant since it was close to where I was staying. The owners, a friendly husband and wife team, were slightly slower than I would have preferred, but not excessively so. The pizza crust was delicious, light, and crispy, with a decent amount of toppings and a tasty BBQ chicken flavor. While it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, it was very enjoyable and I would be happy to recommend it. I would definitely go back there again.
I am doubtful of the negative 1-star reviews that this restaurant has received. Many of them were from users who had only written one review and were all posted simultaneously. However, deciding to dine here turned out to be a fantastic choice. Located in an arcade between Victoria Parade and Albert Street, the restaurant is shielded from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne's street noise. I ordered a small gourmet Moroccan lamb pizza for $13, which I found to be a great value. The portion size was perfect for me and the taste was exceptional. The pasta base was made fresh on-site, not pre-packaged as is becoming more common, and the lamb was tender, topped with capsicum, spinach, and tzatziki. The restaurant was bustling even on a weeknight, with a mix of staff and visitors from the nearby hospital and health care facilities frequenting the place. Tribeca is a favorite among locals who come back for their pizza and pasta fix, and it is also a popular spot for fans heading to nearby sports events at 'The G' for pre or post-game meals. The host, Greg, keeps the place lively and his passion for the business shines through in the outstanding customer service. I also learned that Friday and Saturday nights now feature live music and a DJ, adding to the lively atmosphere. Additionally, there is outdoor seating available under cover for warmer weather. Tribeca accommodates dietary restrictions, is wheelchair friendly, and even accommodates families with children by providing high chairs. Parking is decent, but be mindful of the signage for time restrictions as inspectors can be strict.
